ABOUT BLVD
BLVD. IS AN THRIFT COLLECTIVE THAT CURATES TRENDY CLOTHES WITH THE GOAL OF RE-INVENTING THE PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS AROUND SECOND HAND BUYING.
Through this project, I created a new visual identity for the brand that reflects the special nature of the clothes that are sold and the company’s core values.
THE NEW BRANDING
The new brand identity is designed to create a boutique experience that’s all about finding your personal style. It reflects the company’s passion for combining fashion, photography and art, while paying homage to the roots of its products with a nod to vintage vibes.
THE VISION
Drawing from design trends of past decades, elements such as bubble lettering, contrasting font weights, pops of colour, justified text and thin black strokes are used to give the brand a modern nostalgia feel.
The colour palette is created to offer a fun pop of colour, adding excitement and individuality to the brand. Yet the tones are cohesive with one and other so that the palette can work with the various collections and styles of clothing that BLVD has to offer.

THE WEBSITE
Since BLVD is an e-commerce company, I developed the UI for their website based on the new brand identity. By designing the site it became easier to see the brand identity in action. The result was a site that's fun to shop and reflects the unique nature of the up-and-coming collective.
