Celebrating sugar as a fun, delicious and wonderful treat
In today’s market, more and more “healthy” snack options are appearing in our supermarkets. Many of these products are marketed as substitutes for the real deal and use packaging as a tool to draw in customers. In reality, these products are often heavily processed making them less healthy than they might appear at first glance. Sweetology is designed to fit in with all the beautiful packaging that imposter foods use but instead, the product celebrates sugar for what it is.
VISUAL DESIGN
Sweetology is designed to appeal to people of all ages through a fun and playful design. This was achieved by combining wide-rounded typography with hand-drawn candies. Changing the rotation and spacing of the lettering gives the brand a cheerful look, reflecting the creative spirit and inner child that’s in everyone. The illustrative aspect ties in with the charming nature of a candy shop featuring a range of traditional candies. The added character helps the product stand out from its competitors that use more modern graphics. The use of illustration in combination with the typography, makes Sweetology a fresh take on current trends.
